Now is the season for special occasions such as graduation, races and weddings – and to go to these events, you just NEED the perfect outfit. Lucky for me, Boutique of Molly came to my rescue! They’re also coming to yours as they’ve given my followers an exclusive code for 20% off – just use the code ‘ROBYNLE20’ at the checkout to receive your discount 🙂
When I was approached by BOM, I had a browse of their website and so much stuff caught my eye straight away. I liked a lot of their summery playsuits which would be perfect for holiday, or if Britain actually had a summer – neither of which look like they’ll be happening for me anytime soon though, sadly. So instead the lovely ladies at BOM helped me pick a dress for a day out to the races I have planned in August. BOM’s ‘Orla’ Bandage Mini Dress is the perfect outfit for me as I’ve always been a fan of body con and bandage dresses because they’re always so figure flattering (and make you feel like Kim K for a day).
I was absolutely amazed at BOM’s delivery service because my little pink parcel arrived just a day and a half after I’d picked my beautiful dress. When the dress arrived I couldn’t believe how heavy it was, the quality is amazing and there is definitely no chance of the dress becoming see through in this amazing material! The dress absolutely speaks for itself as it has beautiful panelling detail right round the dress which helps give a slimming effect and pull in any unwanted lumps. This dress is a bit more pricey the a lot of items on the BOM website as it’s a part of their luxury collection, but if you’re looking to splash out for an occasion, this dress is 100% worth it.
Here’s how I styled my dress for my #BOMselfie:
- Dress: Boutique of Molly, £89.95
- Blazer: Marks and Spencer, £29.50
- Shoes: Primark, £5 (fabulous little sale find!!)
- Bag: Michael Kors
I opted to keep my outfit on the monochromatic side to keep to the neutral tone of the dress. The only pop I added was the snake print on my bag which is still nude toned to match the dress. I chose these particular sandals as I feel this style is flattering for the legs when paired with bodycon style dresses (helping my vertically challenged self look like I have longer limbs than I actually have). The white in the sandals then matches with the blazer (which had to be added as you cannot trust British weather to be warm) which helps add a finishing touch to tie the outfit together.
